Division Boost, Placements, Net Wins or Games: Which to Buy

What a division boost, placements, net wins and games each buy in LoL, LoL Classic and Valorant, with the guarantees and limits Pairly prints.

Boosting

Pick the unit before you compare prices. A division boost buys a destination rank, placements buy the first five games of a season, net wins buy a win balance, and games buy a fixed number of matches at a set standard of play. Coaching buys explanation and no rank at all.

Buyers who compare prices first often end up with a service that answers a question they never asked. This guide covers what each unit buys on Pairly in League of Legends, LoL Classic and Valorant, what each one leaves unpromised, and the limits the order form enforces.

Which unit fits which goal?

Match the unit to the sentence you want to say when the order ends: "I reached Platinum", "my placements went four for five", "I finished three wins ahead", or "I played ten games with a strong player in my lobby".

  • You know the rank you want: buy a division boost.
  • The season just reset and you have not played your placements: buy placements.
  • You want wins counted after losses: buy net wins.
  • You want a strong player on the account for a set number of games: buy games.
  • You want to understand your own losses: buy coaching, or use the free Duo Finder to find a regular partner.

A division boost, net wins and games can all move your rank. They differ in what the order measures, and that decides when it ends.

Division boost: when does the destination matter more than the games?

Choose a division boost when the finish line is the goal and the number of games is not. Pairly sells it for League of Legends from Iron to Challenger, for LoL Classic from Salt to Legend, and for Valorant from Iron to Radiant, where it is called Rank Boost.

You enter your current rank, the LP, SP or RR you hold in it, and your target. Those inputs set the price, and SOLO and DUO are priced separately. The order form shows the quote before checkout.

Skip this format if what you have is a time budget. "I can spare ten games" describes a games order, and a division boost will not stop after ten games. LP gains also vary from game to game, which our explanation of LP and MMR covers in detail.

Placements: what does the 80% guarantee cover?

Pairly plays placement games to at least an 80% win rate, four wins in five. Every game on the site has five placement matches, and the order asks for your last known rank because you are unranked this season and the matchmaker seeds those games from it.

The guarantee covers those five games and nothing after them. Your rank after the placements depends on the games you play next, so a strong opening still needs a plan for the rest of the season. Open the placements page for LoL, LoL Classic or Valorant.

Net wins or games: what is the difference?

Net wins count wins after losses are subtracted. A three net wins order that takes two losses needs five victories, because 5 wins minus 2 losses equals 3. The order ends at the agreed net total, so it can take more than three games. One order covers up to 3 net wins in League and LoL Classic and up to 5 in Valorant.

Games work the other way round. You buy a fixed number of ranked games, from 1 to 30 per order, played at a guaranteed standard with no minimum win rate. The order ends when the games are played, whatever the result.

Progress that survives a loss
What the unit means:Each loss adds a win to the total the booster needs
A booster on the account for a set stretch
Buy:Games
What the unit means:A count of matches with no promised result
A played-together stretch in Valorant
What the unit means:The same fixed count, DUO only

The two names look alike at checkout. Read the unit before you compare their prices, because a net win and a game are different things to buy.

What does each game sell?

The catalogue differs by game, and the order form only shows what the game offers.

A League target does not convert to a Valorant target, and a Classic order is a separate product from modern League. LoL Classic runs on its own Salt to Legend ladder, which our LoL Classic rules guide explains.

SOLO, DUO and coaching: who plays?

In SOLO the booster plays on your account. In DUO you team up with a booster and play together. Coaching is DUO only in all three games: a top-rank booster plays alongside you, and the value is the explanation you get during the game rather than the result.

Champion Mastery is the reverse case. It is SOLO only, because no version of it has you playing.

If you want to improve, take LoL Coaching or Valorant Coaching. If you only need a compatible partner, the free Duo Finder costs nothing.

What do Riot's rules say about buying rank?

Riot's rules apply to your account whatever service you pick. Riot's Terms say players cannot share account credentials or let another person access their account. Riot's User Rules also prohibit playing on someone else's account to boost its rank, and violations can lead to disciplinary measures.

A provider's delivery workflow, progress page or support chat does not change those rules. Read Riot's Terms of Service and the Community Pact before buying any ranked service, and see what happens to your login on Pairly for our side of the handover.

The decision is yours. If following the rules and keeping full control of your account come first, choose coaching, use the Duo Finder, or play the games yourself.

A checklist before you configure anything

  1. Name the game. League, LoL Classic and Valorant have separate ranks and separate menus.
  2. Name the sentence. Decide what you want to say when the order ends: a rank, a placement record, a win balance, a game count or a lesson learned.
  3. Match the unit. Pick the row in the first table that produces that sentence.
  4. Pick who plays. SOLO puts the booster on your account and DUO puts you in the lobby.
  5. Read the rules and the order terms. No feature of a service overrides Riot's rules or promises a final rank.

Then open the configurator for League of Legends, LoL Classic or Valorant. Each shows the price as you configure the order.

Frequently asked questions

Which service gets me a specific target rank?

Division Boosting in League of Legends and LoL Classic, and Rank Boost in Valorant. You enter your current rank, your starting LP, SP or RR and the rank you want. The order ends when the account reaches the target, not after a set number of games.

What is the difference between net wins and games?

Net wins count wins after losses are subtracted, so a loss extends the order until the net total is reached. Games are a fixed count of matches, from 1 to 30, with no minimum win rate. A net wins order ends on a result and a games order ends on a count.

What does the 80% placements guarantee cover?

Pairly plays your placement games to at least an 80% win rate, four wins in five. The guarantee covers those five matches only. It does not extend to games you play after the placements are finished.

Does LoL Classic use the same ranks as League of Legends?

No. Pairly sells LoL Classic as a separate ladder from Salt to Legend, measured in SP. League of Legends runs from Iron to Challenger and is measured in LP.

Is duo boosting allowed by Riot?

Riot's Community Pact lists queue boosting among forms of rank manipulation. Read Riot's current rules before choosing any competitive service. Coaching and the free Duo Finder let you play every match yourself.

Which option helps me improve in my own games?

Coaching. A top-rank booster plays alongside you in DUO and explains decisions during the game. If you only need a compatible partner, the free Duo Finder does that without a purchase.
