League of Legends patch 26.19 went live on September 23, 2026, a day after Riot published the notes. It's the last patch before the Worlds patch. Riot says so in the first line of the notes: "We're soon coming up on the Worlds patch (which is the patch after this one), so our first round of pro-focused Summoner's Rift changes are coming up here."
Pro-focused doesn't mean solo queue is untouched. The changes that move your games are a cheaper Teleport for top laners, a Lucian that trades on-hit damage for a stronger Q, and nerfs to five champions Riot says were suppressing the rest of the pool: Vi, Nocturne, Ryze, Poppy and Nasus.
Key takeaways
- Patch 26.19 went live September 23, 2026. Patch 26.20, the one Worlds is played on, follows on October 7 per Riot's patch schedule.
- Top lane Teleport comes back faster: the free Teleport drops from 420 to 390 seconds, Unleashed Teleport from 330–240 to 300–210 seconds.
- Lucian's passive on-hit falls from 15 (+20% AD) to 5 (+15% AD) while his Q rises to 90–250 damage. The bonus shifts from basic attacks to the spell.
- Vi, Nocturne, Ryze, Poppy and Nasus are nerfed. Aatrox, Fiora, Kha'Zix, Elise, Lillia, Aurora, Aphelios, Draven and Volibear are buffed.
- Worlds does not reset your rank. Season 3 runs into January 2027, so 26.19 and 26.20 are the patches most of this season's climbing happens on.
When Did Patch 26.19 Come Out, and When Is 26.20?
Patch 26.19 went live on September 23, 2026, and patch 26.20 is scheduled for October 7, 2026, according to Riot's League of Legends patch schedule. Riot published the 26.19 patch notes on September 22.
26.20 is the Worlds patch. Worlds 2026 starts on October 15 and ends with the final on November 14, so pro teams will play the whole tournament on 26.20. The full schedule, venues and qualified teams are in our Worlds 2026 schedule and format guide.
Top Lane Teleport Is Faster in 26.19

Top lane gets a shorter Teleport cooldown, and it's the one system change in the patch. Riot's reason: "As the meta has continued to adjust to role quests, it's become clear that top lane is slightly weak, especially for split pushing."
Thirty seconds per Teleport adds up over a 30-minute game. A top laner who plays for side waves gets back to the map sooner after every trade of Teleports, which is exactly the split-pushing gap Riot named.
In solo queue, that favours champions who win side lanes on their own. Fiora is the obvious one, since she is also buffed in 26.19.
Every Champion Buff in Patch 26.19

Nine champions are buffed and two more get mixed changes. Insider Gaming's rundown of the patch covers the pro-play context; the table below lists every Summoner's Rift buff in the notes, with Riot's numbers.
Aatrox: back to a "world-ending threat"
Aatrox's W comes back faster at early ranks and his E heals more from bonus health. Riot ties it to the jungle item: "We think The Darkin Blade has lost a fair bit of power with Sundered Sky nerfs that were aimed more at opening up the jungle meta, so we are giving him a bump so he remains a world-ending threat."
The heal change matters more the tankier your build gets, since the ratio scales per 100 bonus health.
Lucian: less on-hit, more Q
Lucian's change is a trade, not a straight buff. His Vigilance passive on-hit drops from 15 (+20% AD) to 5 (+15% AD), and his Q rises from 80/115/150/185/220 to 90/130/170/210/250.
Riot's context: "Years ago, we added the Vigilance Passive so Lucian bot players didn't feel like their champ was being nerfed because of mid laners." Moving damage from auto-attacks to Q favours a Lucian who trades with spells, which is how he's played mid. Riot hasn't said which lane it expects him in, so treat mid Lucian as a pick to test in normals first.
Mixed changes: Master Yi and Rumble
Master Yi's Q cooldown refund becomes a flat 1 second instead of scaling. Rumble loses passive attack speed (50–130% to 30–100%) but his damage cap against monsters rises from 65–150 to 90–175, which points at jungle Rumble.
Every Nerf in Patch 26.19

Five champions are nerfed, and Riot gives the same kind of reason for most of them: they were too good for too long, or they kept other champions out of the game.
Two details matter for solo queue.
Vi's base AD drops but her growth rises from 3.5 to 3.9 per level, so she loses more early than late. Riot says it wants her "a riskier pick who can still bring the pain if you are willing to build for it."
Ryze's nerf includes a buff. His armor growth goes up from 4.2 to 4.7, which Riot calls "some help with bad solo queue matchups," while the Flux damage and E mana cost take the hit.
Item Change: World Atlas and Runic Compass
The support starter line loses early health. World Atlas and Runic Compass go from 30/100/200 health to 0/60/200, while health regeneration rises from 25/50/75% to 50/75/75%. Supports start weaker in raw health but sustain more in lane. The last stage keeps its 200 health.
What Patch 26.19 Means for Your Climb
26.19 is the patch you'll play most of October on, and 26.20 follows two weeks later with Worlds-focused tuning. Neither ends the season. Season 3 runs into January 2027 and the only full rank reset is the annual one, as we explain in our guide to the Season 3 end date and rewards.
What that means in practice:
- Jungle mains: Vi and Nocturne are weaker. Kha'Zix, Elise and Lillia are buffed, and jungle Rumble gets a higher monster damage cap.
- Top laners: Teleport is back sooner. Fiora and Aatrox are buffed; Poppy and Nasus are nerfed.
- Mid laners: Ryze is nerfed. Aurora is buffed. Lucian's Q buff is worth testing mid.
- Bot lane: Aphelios and Draven are buffed. Lucian's on-hit loss hurts his bot-lane auto-attack pattern more than his Q trades.
A patch doesn't change how LP works. Your gains still come from MMR relative to the lobby, which our LP and MMR explainer covers. If you duo, our duo role and champion guide pairs well with the jungle changes above.
What Does a LoL Boost Cost on Patch 26.19?
If you'd rather not spend October learning a new meta, Pairly's boosters play the games for you. These are today's prices for one full tier on the League of Legends boost page, taken from the same price engine the checkout uses, with the automatic 20% campaign discount applied.
Solo means a booster plays on your account. Duo means you play every game yourself with a booster in your party. Add-ons such as Express Priority change the total, and the calculator shows the exact price for your own ranks before you pay. If you just want a ranked partner rather than a paid climb, Pairly's Duo Finder matches you with one for free.
A full division isn't the only option. If the new meta only cost you a losing streak, Net Wins buys a fixed number of ranked wins above your current losses instead of a target rank. If it's your ten calibration games that got harder, Placement Matches covers those specifically, with an 80% win rate guaranteed.
Boosting on your account breaks Riot's Terms of Service. Read our guide to LoL boosting risks and account security before you order.
